I have been working with Sanda for several years now, after I had the opportunity to see and follow her work as an interpreter and the person responsible for the reporting of the Transcript of Proceedings in an international arbitration proceeding that I presided over in the capacity of the president of the arbitration court. Given the undoubted and obvious superior command of this area, I continued to cooperate with Sanda every time I had the opportunity to be a guest as an expert lecturer in an international environment or when giving my opinions on certain relevant legal issues as a member of the Venice Commission from Croatia. Her proofreading of various complex legal documents gave me a sense of security that the written work was indeed prepared according to both legal and linguistic professional rules, and Sanda always did this latter part quickly, professionally and with quality. Needless to say, she always met deadlines, even when they were very short. I am confident that with her contribution she can visibly improve any work or project in the English language. Sanda is one of the few people who can claim to possess genuine legal-linguistic skills based on unquestionable knowledge and expertise.

The State Attorney’s Office of the Republic of Croatia has been using the services of the Moje znanje Centre since 2017, primarily for the translation of documents related to international commercial and investment arbitration proceedings, as well as for interpretation services.

It is my pleasure to write this letter to recommend Ms. Sanda Lisicin. I was the manager of a recent project on the topic of corruption in Croatia. Ms. Lisicin provided interpretation and translation services for the project. She translated a 70-page report from English to Croatian. She also provided simultaneous interpretation (between English and Croatian) for three activities: a virtual fact-finding mission consisting of nine discussion sessions with representatives from the public and private sectors (approximately 14 hours); a conference with high-level officials (1 day); and technical workshops (1.5 days). The report and these activities concerned complex technical and legal issues. 

Ms. Lisicin provided services of a very high quality. Our Croatian counterpart who reviewed the translation of the report made very few revisions. The simultaneous interpretation was always clear and fluid, even when speakers had not prepared a speech. Ms. Lisicin demonstrated professionalism by always being on time and meeting all deadlines. She was very accommodating with several unexpected requests on short notice.

Overall, it has been a pleasure collaborating with Ms. Lisicin, and I would recommend her services without hesitation.

I have been attending English courses at the Moje znanje Business English Centre for some time now. Given my position and the specific legal field I work in, as well as the specialized legal English terminology I am required to use, I wanted to improve my knowledge of legal English, which is why I contacted the Moje znanje Centre.

My experience with the Centre and the instructor has been excellent. The Centre is very well organized, and both the schedule and the structure of the program are tailored to the needs of participants. Communication with the instructor regarding organization and teaching methods is outstanding.

The classes—whether individual or group—are very well designed and prepared. The choice of topics is relevant and up-to-date, and the lessons are dynamic, engaging, and highly beneficial, all conducted in a pleasant working atmosphere.

In addition, the instructor uses an excellent method for reviewing English grammar through a “Logical Grammar” approach, which I found extremely helpful in refreshing my grammar knowledge.
