“I have been cooperating with Sanda for several years, after having had the opportunity to meet and observe her work as an interpreter and person responsible for the Reporting of Transcript of Proceedings in an international arbitration case in which I acted as the presiding arbitrator. Given her undoubtedly and clearly top-level mastery of this field, I continued to cooperate with Sanda whenever I had the opportunity to appear as an expert lecturer in an international environment or when giving my opinions on certain relevant legal issues as a member of the Venice Commission from Croatia. Her proofreading of various complex legal texts gave me a sense of security that the written work was indeed prepared according to both legal and linguistic professional standards, and Sanda always completed this latter part quickly, professionally, and with high quality. Needless to say, she always respected deadlines, even when they were very short. I am confident that her contribution can significantly improve any text or project in the English language. Sanda is one of the rare individuals whom I can say possess genuine legal-linguistic skills based on unquestionable knowledge and expertise.”
Jasna Omejec, Full Professor at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Law; former President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia
“I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Sanda Lisičin. I was the head of a recent project on corruption in Croatia. Ms. Lisičin provided translation and interpreting services during the project. She translated 70 pages of a report from English into Croatian. She also provided simultaneous interpreting (English and Croatian) for three activities: a virtual fact-finding mission consisting of nine discussion meetings with representatives from the public and private sectors (approx. 14 hours); a conference with high-level officials (1 day); and a technical workshop (1.5 days). The report and activities dealt with complex technical and legal issues.
Ms. Lisičin delivered services of very high quality. Our Croatian partner who reviewed the translated report made only minor amendments. The simultaneous interpreting was always clear and fluent, even when speakers had not prepared their speeches in advance. Ms. Lisičin demonstrated professionalism by always arriving on time and meeting all deadlines. She was also consistently available, even for several urgent and unexpected requests.
In conclusion, it was a pleasure to work with Ms. Lisičin and I would recommend her services without hesitation.”
William Loo, Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Division at the OECD (2022)
“With regular long-term attendance of legal English courses, I recently also attended the professional seminar ‘Small Secrets of Big Contracts’. The seminar was very clear and logical, and key parameters of formal contracts were presented in a systematic and understandable way. The seminar was extremely useful for applying acquired knowledge in everyday practice, and the lecturer is very precise and highly knowledgeable in understanding formal contracts. A very useful seminar. Highly recommended!”
Mirjana Pajnić-Benović, Director of Corporate Affairs at Ledo d.d. (2021)
“The State Attorney’s Office of the Republic of Croatia has been using the services of the Moje znanje centre since 2017 for translation of documents for international commercial and investment arbitration proceedings and for interpreting services.
The translation services have included a wide range of official documents of Croatian public authorities (translation from Croatian into English), party submissions and evidence, court decisions and other documents issued in arbitration proceedings (translation from English into Croatian).
In addition to document translation, Ms. Sanda Lisičin has on several occasions provided interpreting services (simultaneous and consecutive) for various demanding meetings held for arbitration proceedings.
Due to legal terminology and the differences between common law and civil law systems, the quality of translation is of utmost importance to us.
All entrusted translations and interpretations were carried out by Ms. Sanda Lisičin with exceptional quality and professionalism, always within agreed deadlines, showing understanding for all our needs. The fact that cooperation continues further confirms our satisfaction with the services and expertise demonstrated by Ms. Lisičin.”
Gordana Tomić Palavršić, Deputy State Attorney General of the Republic of Croatia (2020)
“I am extremely pleased to write a recommendation for Sanda Lisičin, professor and owner of the Moje znanje Centre. Since I work in a law firm, knowledge of legal English is extremely important in my daily work. Given the large number of cases and agreements with foreign clients, I needed professional help. I have been attending classes regularly for 4 years and I am extremely satisfied with the expertise, knowledge of subject matter, and teaching methodology, as each lesson is designed to thoroughly cover vocabulary and topics necessary for my job. Sanda is also a pleasant, always smiling person with excellent communication skills, very dedicated to her work, and I would recommend her to anyone who needs a conscientious, responsible, and highly professional teacher.”

“I am a student of the Moje znanje Business English Centre. Given my job and specific legal field, and therefore the legal English terminology I must use, I wanted to improve my knowledge of legal English and therefore contacted the Centre. My experience is excellent. The Centre is well organized, schedules and work organization are adapted to students’ needs, and communication with the teacher regarding organization and teaching method is excellent. Classes, whether individual or group, are well designed and prepared, topics are current, and the work is dynamic, useful, and held in a pleasant atmosphere. The teacher also uses an excellent method of revising English grammar through the ‘Logical Grammar’ method, which was very useful for refreshing my grammar knowledge. An excellent experience overall.”

“At the Moje znanje Centre I attended legal English classes as preparation for the ILEC exam. The lessons were excellently designed, with a balanced mix of different methods, and I was always focused because active participation was expected throughout the class. We read, spoke, listened, wrote, solved tasks, and took short tests. The class was intensive, but I always left feeling I had learned a lot. The teacher was extremely well prepared, motivated, encouraging, and committed to transferring knowledge effectively. Her enthusiasm was contagious. As a result, I passed the ILEC exam at C1 level.”

“My knowledge of English is very important for my job, as I often translate tender documentation for international projects, mostly in English. Without attending English classes, such tasks would be significantly more difficult. After one year of studying legal English, I can say that I translate a good part of English documents without difficulty.”
Ivana Koržinek Hadžić, Head of Legal Department, Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research (2015)
“I attended legal English classes at the Moje znanje Centre for many years, both individually and in groups. After a long working day, attending classes was never a burden; I always lloked forward to going to classes due to the excellent atmosphere the teacher maintained throughout the lesson. She enabled me to easily understand and use legal terminology in English in contracts and legal correspondence, which is extremely important in my job. She greatly contributed to strengthening my confidence in speaking and legal presentation, allowing me to conduct meetings and business communication with foreign clients without difficulty. The teaching is well designed, varied, and tailored to students’ needs. Although intensive and demanding, the results are excellent, and I would recommend this centre to anyone seeking reliable progress in legal English.”
