Sanda Lisicin
Director and owner of the Business and Legal English Centre – Moje znanje ('My Knowledge').
With over 20 years of experience in teaching Business English, she has specialized in Legal English (ESP – English for Specific Purposes), developing expertise in working with legal and other professionals.
Throughout her career, she has established long-term and successful cooperation with leading institutions in Croatia and abroad, including:
- The State Attorney’s Office of the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Justice, and the Permanent Arbitration Court at the Croatian Chamber of Economy
- The Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts
- International organizations such as the OECD and the EJTN
As a conference interpreter, she has participated in numerous arbitration proceedings in Croatia and internationally, particularly in the fields of finance and construction. In addition, she continuously proofreads legal texts in English.
For many years, she has actively collaborated with the Judicial Academy and the European Judicial Training Network, where she delivers seminars and Legal English courses for Croatian and European judges, state attorneys, and other judicial officials.
In June 2024, she completed a postgraduate specialist interdisciplinary program in conference interpreting at the University of Zagreb, and in October of the same year, she passed the accreditation exam for conference interpreters at the institutions of the European Union for the language combination Croatian (A) – English (B).
